Tim Burton’s Magical Fashion editorial shot by Tim Walker…

In anticipation of his retrospective at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, filmmaker Tim Burton reimagines the season’s dark delights.

I’m really looking forward to this exhibit at MoMA.

Barbie’s full name is Barbie Millicent Roberts. She is from Willows, Wisconsin, and went to Willows High School.

Barbie was named after the daughter of Mattel founders Ruth and Elliot Handler. Their son’s name is: Ken.

The first Barbie doll sold for $3.

The first Black, and Hispanic Barbie dolls were introduced in 1980.

The only thing that comes to mind when I think about or see a Barbie: Creepy Bitch

These laser cut leaves are kind of amazing!  From Brazilian design firm, Tatil Design.
More here.

You can do this by leaving a cutout on top of a leaf in full sun for about 4-5 hours, then put it in HOT hydrogen peroxide, and then in iodine. Voila! you got a picture. The chloroform under the cutout aren’t activated cause they’re not being penetrated by the sun. The hydrogen stops the cellular respiration by denaturing cells, and the iodine stains the starch produced. Oh! Leaf still has to be on the tree, bush, whatever. It’s got to be alive.
